If you have a yoga studio or yoga business, chances are you’ll have a business Instagram profile.
In order to maximise your impact on the platform, you should be taking advantage of all the features that Instagram has to offer. If you do this effectively, you’ll be able to create an engaging and educational social media presence in a way that is both entertaining and professional. In doing this, you should also be able to increase your clientele.
Showcasing your expertise
The health and wellness industry is very crowded in terms of online presence.
There are many different yoga studios out there, and almost all of them will be competing for your customer base.
Therefore, you need to figure out how to capture the attention of your target audience, and invite them to use your studio. This means that the content you post on Instagram needs to stand out from the crowd, and creating Instagram highlights is a fantastic way to do this.
Featuring several Instagram highlights in different categories will allow your followers to see the specific services you offer, the ways you go about your yoga business, and the particular expertise you have.
The great thing about this feature is that is allows for clean, structured posts that can really educate your audience in a convenient and step by step manner. Remember, people love convenience.
For example, if you want to demonstrate a particular exercise, you may want to upload several images of a person completing the exercise in step by step frames, to show your audience how it’s done.
Simple and easy process
Creating an Instagram highlight is easy!
All you need to do is get the images you want to display, and then add them to your story. You might wish to add text, for example labeling the steps.
Once you’ve added it to your story, you’ll be able to add it to a highlight. You might wish to create a new highlight for a new exercise, and then name the highlight the name of the exercise, for example.
Next, you’ll need to choose a cover for your highlight. For this, you can either use one of the pictures from the highlight, or create a tailored image that pertains to the category of the highlight; for example, you might want to use a stock photo of a person doing a particular yoga pose, or create one yourself.
One of the great things about Instagram highlights is that they are visible to anyone who clicks on your profile, which means that you’ll be able to have an impact on everyone– not just your followers.
This will invite prospective clients and people who fall within your target demographic to further survey your profile, and if you are already uploading consistent and great content, they’ll be likely to follow you and want to find out more.
